So I went out again today and did the road part of the course, the extra loop for the cat1 and pros, and the junior loop.
This picture is the road that you ride on for the last third of the junior loop.
So I think the junior total miles is around 13 with 4 being single track(the best part of the single track)

I think this race is gonna take three hours, it is not a fast track.
Up, down, left, right, over and over.
No big climbs, I think there were 6 main climbs, but there are probably 300 little climbs.
Then we go back on the gravel to pavement that we started on.

The trail just goes around and around, forever, a little tedious.



















Looks like a good spot for a feed zone.
I am gonna leave bottles at each of the two feed zones. It took me 2.5 hrs to do the 18.5 miles of single track at 121 average heart rate.

This is probably the toughest part of the course, you can walk it.














There are some sections with imbedded rocks.
You will want to leave your fork active or you may sprain your hands, I did.

The soil is super tacky, no traction problems. Any where there is any traction issue they have put gravel, rocks, or wooden structures. All easy to ride.

The trail is kind of fresh and bumpy, but it is not technical.

The race starts in downtown Echo and goes neutral for about a mile on pavement. Then the racing starts with 2.5 mile of gravel road, uphill first, then kind of flat, then about a quarter mile of pretty steep descending that may cause some flats.
This is the steepest descent, it is steeper than it looks.
